Our Pledge
As members, contributors, and community leaders, we want participation here to be safe and free from harassment for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We aim to communicate and act in ways that help the community stay open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy.
Our Standards
Here are some examples of behavior that helps create a positive community environment:
- Showing empathy and kindness toward other people
- Respecting different opinions, perspectives, and experiences
- Giving constructive feedback and accepting it with grace
- Taking responsibility for our mistakes, apologizing to the people affected, and learning from what happened
- Paying attention to what is best not only for ourselves, but for the community as a whole
Unacceptable behavior includes, for example:
- Sexualized language or imagery, and any form of unwanted sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Sharing someone else’s private information, such as a home address, email, or other contact details, without their explicit permission
- Any other conduct that could reasonably be seen as inappropriate, aggressive, or harmful in a professional community
Enforcement Responsibilities
Community leaders help keep these expectations clear and the community safe. If someone’s behavior is inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful, they will respond calmly, consistently, and based on the situation.
Community leaders may remove, edit, or reject comments, messages, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct. When appropriate, they will also explain the reasons behind moderation decisions.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies in all community spaces, including Telegram, GitHub, public discussions, and online or offline events. It also applies when someone is officially representing the community in public, for example by using an official email address, posting from an official social media account, or speaking as an appointed representative at an event.
Enforcement
If you experience or witness abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior, you can report it to the Cursor Community Kazakhstan leaders responsible for enforcing these standards.
We aim to review and investigate all reports promptly and fairly.
We care deeply about protecting the privacy and safety of the person who reported the incident.
Enforcement Guidelines
If this Code of Conduct is violated, community leaders will look at how the behavior affected people and the community as a whole before deciding what consequences are appropriate:

1. Correction
Community Impact: Inappropriate language or other behavior that is seen as unprofessional or unwelcome in the community.
Consequence: A private written warning from community leaders explaining what was inappropriate and why. In some cases, a public apology may be requested.

2. Warning
Community Impact: A violation through one serious incident or a series of actions.
Consequence: An official warning with a clear explanation of what will happen if the behavior continues. For a set period of time, interaction with the people involved may be restricted, including unwanted contact with those enforcing the Code of Conduct. This applies both in community spaces and in external channels such as social media. Breaking these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

3. Temporary Ban
Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including repeated inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: A temporary ban from interacting or communicating publicly with the community for a specified period of time. During this period, no public or private interaction with the people involved is allowed, including unwanted contact with those enforcing the Code of Conduct. Breaking these terms may lead to a permanent ban.

4. Permanent Ban
Community Impact: A clear pattern of violating community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment of an individual, or aggression toward or disparagement of groups of people.
Consequence: A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.
